Colonial Virginia Council Shoulder Patches

Colonial Virginia Council 595, headquartered in Newport News, VA, was formed by the merger of Peninsula Council 595 (Newport News, VA) and Old Dominion Area Council 601 (Suffolk, VA) in 1992. Their Order of the Arrow Lodges (Kecoughtan 463 and Chanco 483, respectively) would not merge to form Wahunsenakah Lodge 333 until 1996.

American flag background, gold FDL, green letters, black outline around state and cannon. 64mm name, 50x125mm size.

American flag background, gold FDL, green letters, no outline around state and cannon. 4 white stars, 2 are cut off at edge of blue background. 77mm name, 53x135mm.

American flag background, gold FDL, green letters, no outline around state and cannon. Remake by National Scout Supply with slight differences from original design including 4 complete white stars in blue background, Scout supply backing on reverse.

Commemorative issue for the last year of Camp Chickahominy (2004). 1,000 made. Sold only at the Camp for 10.00.

2005 Friends of Scouting, "Loyal" issue, 500 made. Second of series to be issued one per year for twelve years. Requires minimum 25.00 donation to Council.

75th Anniversary of Cub Scouting Issue (2005). 500 made.

2006 Friends of Scouting, "Helpful" issue, standard issue with orange mylar ("bronze") border. Third of series to be issued one per year for twelve years. Requires minimum 50.00 donation to Council.

2006 Friends of Scouting, "Helpful" issue, Eagle Scout issue with silver mylar border. Third of series to be issued one per year for twelve years. Requires minimum 50.00 donation to Council.

2006 Friends of Scouting, "Helpful" issue, United Way issue with gold mylar border. Third of series to be issued one per year for twelve years. Requires minimum 50.00 donation to Council.

Awarded to all Eagle Scouts and their sponsors attending the 2006 Council Eagle Scout Banquet. Omission of the Council name was not planned, but may disqualify this issue for a catalog number in official collecting guides.
