| Colonial Virginia Council 595, headquartered in Newport News, VA, was formed by the merger of Peninsula Council 595 (Newport News, VA) and Old Dominion Area Council 601 (Suffolk, VA) in 1992. Their Order of the Arrow Lodges (Kecoughtan 463 and Chanco 483, respectively) would not merge to form Wahunsenakah Lodge 333 until 1996. | |||||

World Jamboree 2007 shoulder patch, also commemorates the 400th anniversary of the first permanent English settlement in America at Jamestown, VA. The patch design includes James Fort and Lord Robert Baden-Powell, founder of the World Scout movement. The design was shared among all of the councils that made up the contingent, including Blue Ridge Mountains, Colonial Virginia, East Carolina, Heart of Virginia, Shenandoah Area, Stonewall Jackson, and Tidewater. The only difference in the emblem was the council name lettering across the top. View all varieties here. | |
